To unite extensive workers of zoological technology to abide with the constitution, the laws, the rules and the national policies, to comply with the social justice, to discuss and gather democratically, to enhance academic democracy and to launch free academic discussion.

We insist on seeking truth from facts, "respecting the knowledge and the talents", "self-dedicating, innovating, truth-seeking and collaborating", to enhance the prosperitve development and the popularization of ichthological scientific technology, as well as to cultivate of the maturity and advance of talents, for serving the community and to contribute on promoting the developement and modernization of ichthyological science in Hong Kong and China.
